RFx Toolkit & Management
RFx Toolkit and management
Run an RFx that results in a decision
RFIs/RFPs fail when they become essay contests. We provide the toolkit and hands-on management to define scope, control vendor responses, normalize pricing and assumptions, and drive the process to a defensible decision.

Capacity
The RFx toolkit
Templates + scoring + response controls that prevent “proposal fog.”
Clarity
Scope & requirements template
Must-haves, constraints, assumptions, and service definitions in plain language.
Comparable
Vendor response format
Locked structure for pricing, SLAs, lead times, and included/excluded items.
Apples-to-apples
Pricing normalization workbook
Unit costs and total cost views that compare different commercial models fairly.
Defensible
Scoring rubric
Weighted scoring across technical fit, risk, timeline, and commercial terms.
Control
Q&A + addendum pack
Centralized Q&A, vendor clarifications, and addenda so all bidders stay aligned.
No cliff
Terms checklist
Pre-align common blockers (auto-renew, escalators, SLAs, termination, MACD/change).

Frequently Asked Questions
This is a paid consulting engagement. It is structured to end with a decision, a defensible rationale, and a ready-to-sign package.
Not always. Many teams use a fast-track RFx (2–4 vendors) with a controlled response format and an options matrix. If policy requires a formal RFP, the toolkit supports that too.
We lock the response format and define required assumptions. We also run centralized Q&A and addenda so all bidders stay aligned. Anything outside the format gets moved to an appendix so it can’t derail comparability.
The core outputs are: an options matrix (apples-to-apples), a scoring rubric with rationale, a commercial plan, and a decision memo. Together these make the decision defensible and reduce late-stage rework.
We reply with a proposed RFx sequence (fast-track vs formal), draft timeline, stakeholder touchpoints, and the first templates to complete. Then we schedule a short kickoff to confirm scope and start vendor shortlisting.
